Tin Pan Alley plays play a whole range pop and jazz standards with their own unique approach. The band draws heavily from the Great American Songbook, tunes everybody knows and loves. The best standards of Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, Dorothy Fields, Cole Porter, Richard Rogers, Lorenz Hart, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer, Walter Donaldson, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington, Isham Jones, Gus Kahn, Lerner and Loewe, Harry Ruby and Bert Kalmar, Jimmy Van Heusen, Harry Warren, Vincent Youmans, and many more. Great for listening and dancing. Played with virtuosity and a sense of good fun! We can tailor the mix to your preferences. Two different sets of instrumentation: 1) Clarinet, banjo, tuba for a more traditional sound; 2) Clarinet/sax, guitar, string bass for a more modern sound.
