Matted, suitable for framing, and available for the first time.
$6.00 each.
In addition to being a musican and writer Dix Bruce has been a photographer for nearly all of his adult life. Since the early 1970s he’s shot musicians, actors, film directors, musical instruments, and more, often using the photos to illustrate his published articles, interviews, and books.
Much of the work was for David Grisman’s Mandolin World News, which Dix edited from 1978 to 1984. He interviewed, photographed, developed, and printed images of the greatest mandolinists of that era.
Recently he has decided to open up his photo vault to all of you and allow you to purchase some of what he considers his best, most interesting and historic photos. Most are his original black and white photos but some are historic prints acquired over the years. All are collectable.
Each photo is a 4X6 in. print from the original negative or file, mounted and matted in a 5X7 mat. They’re suitable for framing but you can enjoy them unframed too. Each comes sealed in an archival crystal clear bag. You can instantly pop it on the wall!
Watch this space for more prints we hope to make available in the future.
